American adaptation of popular UK series "Misfits" to include Hannah Montana cast members?
According to ABC Networks, plans have been set to launch an American version of Misfits, a popular British comedy-drama series involving a group of young offenders forced to work in a community service program, where they attain supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm. The cast of the now finalized Hannah Montana series have been chosen to portray two all-new characters, and have now finished filming the pilot episode. Emily Osment will play Kelly, a mind-reader, while Jason Earles has been cast as Nathan, the smart-alec of the group who has yet to discover his power. “We are very excited to be part of this lovely show with such cool characters,” Emily Osment tells us in an exclusive interview. The Misfits is expected to air on primetime this fall on ABC.
